Greatly enjoyed our rooms with pleasant patio. Location: the hotel was adjacent to Williamsburg Historical areas and the gorgeous setting, Merchant's Square, and a getaway. The place was right next to Gold Course Grill, where you can have dinner.

i loved that it was only a 10-minute walk to the iconic governor's palace, and the calm outside with beautiful grounds made for a lovely escape after exploring the charming streets of colonial williamsburg.

We enjoyed a fantastic day at the Golden Horseshoe Golf Club, hitting some great shots at the driving range. The space was beautiful, and the experience was lovely, especially having a good time hanging out with family and friends.
My kids wished there were more lights for night walks around the hotel. This would enhance safety for families with children.

The griffin hotel is like stepping back in time with its awesome historic details! It's located in a quiet wooded area, perfect for relaxation. The staff was super friendly. We loved laying on the 200-year-old furnishings. The outdoor pool was a good bonus too!
